Enamel maintenance
Enamel is glass that has been fused onto the silver surface at high temperatures. Enamel jewelry requires special care to preserve the color and surface.
Daily use
- Avoid bumps and falls – enamel can crack or flake off with hard impact
- Remove the jewelry before physical activity, sports or heavy work.
- Apply perfume, hairspray and cosmetics before putting on the jewelry.
- Avoid contact with chemicals, chlorine water and strong cleaning agents.
Cleaning
- Clean gently with a soft, damp cloth.
- Use lukewarm water and mild soap if necessary.
- Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
- NEVER use ultrasonic cleaners, steam cleaners or abrasives
- Avoid silver polishing on enameled areas
Storage
- Store the jewelry separately in a soft bag or jewelry box.
- Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures
- Keep the jewelry away from other jewelry to avoid scratches.
